Welcome to Shmile Dentist Bromley. Before proceeding with our dental services, please read through our terms and conditions carefully. By registering as a patient and/or using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.
Shmile Dentist Bromley is a Private only clinic and does not undertake National Health Care (NHS) treatments.
Shmile Ltd (trading as Shmile Dentist Bromley) is a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered provider (https://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-16043265097) of dental services. We always ensure that patient care comes first and patients make an informed decision on the care that they are offered and are provided.
1.1. To become a registered patient at Shmile Dentist Bromley, you must provide accurate personal information including your contact details and medical history.
1.3. You are responsible for informing us of any changes to your personal information.
1.4. We reserve the right to refuse registration or services to any individual at our discretion.
2.1. The cost for consultations is usually £120.
2.2. However, a consultation fee may be replaced, at the discretion of Shmile Dentist Bromley, to a fully refundable £25 deposit, which is to secure the appointment. If further or multiple consultations are required the cost of this may be chargeable at the usual consultation fee of £120.
2.3. Emergency dental appointments. The full payment of £60 is required for both existing and new patients. Emergency appointments include up to two X-rays (if required) and a private prescription (if required). Our dentists will then advise on the cost of further treatment that you may be required and is charged at the normal listed price.
3.0. Deposits and Fees:
3.1. Treatment fees are shown on our website fees page.
3.2. Depending on the treatment type or length of appointment/s, including treatments which may be under promotion, a deposit of at least 50% of the total treatment plan cost will be due in order to book the initial treatment appointment.
3.3. If you have paid your deposit and change your mind within the 14 days cooling off period, a full refund will be issued. An administrative fee may be applied at the discretion of Shmile Dentist Bromley.
3.4. If you have paid a deposit and the 14 day cooling off period has passed, Shmile Dentist Bromley has the right to retain the deposit.
3.5. If you are unable to proceed with treatment due to medical reasons, and with proof of medical reason, Shmile Dentist Bromley will provide a refund of deposit.
3.6. We only accept credit cards and debit cards for payment. Cash payments are not accepted.
3.7. Payment plans may be provided for treatment costs and are subject to a credit check.
4.0 Guarantees and Refunds
4.1. We strive to provide the highest quality dental care. However, no dental treatment can be guaranteed to be successful in every case.
4.2. We will discuss the risks and limitations of any treatment before you proceed.
4.3. We offer a limited warranty on certain procedures based on specific materials and conditions. Please inquire about our specific warranty for your specific treatment.
4.4. Refunds are offered only in exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the practice manager. We will always try to resolve any concerns you may have.
5.1. We understand that unexpected situations can arise. However, timely cancellations allow us to offer appointments to other patients in need.
5.2. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations. You can cancel your appointment by phone, email, or in person.
5.3. Less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation, may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the treatment cost.
5.4. If you do not attend your appointment (No show), this may result in the loss of any paid deposit or a fee for the full treatment cost.
5.5. Repeated late cancellations or no shows may result in deposits for future appointments or the refusal of further treatment at our discretion.
5.6. Exceptions: We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur. We will consider reasonable explanations for late cancellations or missed appointments on a case-by-case basis. Please communicate with us as soon as possible in such situations.
6.0 Competitions / Giveaways / Prize Draws
6.1. Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older to enter.
6.2. Employees of Shmile Dentist Bromley and their immediate families are not eligible.
6.3. This competition is open to residents of England.
6.4 Depending on the prize, you must be able to attend and travel to Shmile Dentist Bromley by your own means for any treatment included in the prize. Travel costs are not included in the prize/draw.
6.4. Entry is free. No purchase necessary.
6.5 . Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries from the same person will not be counted and will not be included in the draw.
6.6. Entrants must provide accurate and complete information. Incomplete or inaccurate entries will be disqualified/not entered into the draw.
6.7. Prize / Treatments are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6.8. The specific prize details and availability may vary depending on the location of the winning entrant due to legal and regulatory differences across the UK jurisdictions.
6.9. Any dental treatment component of the prize must be undertaken at Shmile Dentist Bromley (235 High street, Bromley BR1 1NZ). This is due to insurance and regulatory requirements specific to our practice.
6.10. If the winner is unable to attend Shmile Dentist Bromley for the specified treatment, the prize will be forfeited, and another draw will take place.
6.11. Prize/s do not include any additional dental treatments or procedures beyond those explicitly stated in the draw details.
6.12. Suitability: Prior to claiming a prize, the winner/s may be required to attend a free, no-obligation dental consultation at Shmile Dentist Bromley. This consultation aims to assess the suitability of the winner for the specific treatment included in the prize. If, after the consultation, our dentists deem the treatment unsuitable or inadvisable, the winner will have the following options:
- Decline the prize: The winner forfeits the prize, and a new winner will be chosen.
- Nominate another person: The winner can nominate one other eligible individual to receive the prize in their place. This nominated individual must still meet all eligibility criteria and attend a suitability consultation.
- Accept alternative treatment: If Shmile Dentist Bromley can offer an alternative, suitable treatment of similar value, the winner can choose to accept this instead of the original prize.
6.13. You are responsible for any additional treatment costs. It is important to understand your dental needs and any potential associated costs before accepting the prize.
6.14. You have the right to decline any additional treatments recommended by our dentists. However, depending on the nature of the decline in any additional treatments recommended and its impact on the core prize offering, Shmile Dentist Bromley reserves the right to request partial or full forfeiture of the prize.
6.15. Winner will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries. The draw will be fair and impartial.
6.16. Only one entry per person will be considered for the draw, even if multiple entries are submitted.
6.17. The winner/s will be contacted within 2 days of the closing date. If unreachable or unresponsive within 7 days of the competition/draw ending a new winner will be chosen.
6.18. By winning, you consent to your name and image being used for marketing purposes by Shmile Dentist Bromley. You have the right to remove this consent.
6.19. We will not share your data with any third parties without your consent.
6.20. Shmile Dentist Bromley is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury related to the competition or prize.
6.21. Shmile Dentist Bromley reserves the right to modify or cancel a competition/draw without notice.
6.22. By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that they may be subject to variations to comply with specific regulations.
7.1. We take all complaints seriously and strive to resolve them promptly and fairly.
